Words To Live By

2 Kings 6:13-18
13 And he said, Go and spy where he is, that I may send and fetch him. And it was told him, saying, Behold, he is in Dothan.

14 Therefore sent he thither horses, and chariots, and a great host: and they came by night, and compassed the city about.

15 And when the servant of the man of God was risen early, and gone forth, behold, an host compassed the city both with horses and chariots. And his servant said unto him, Alas, my master! how shall we do?

16 And he answered, Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them.

17 And Elisha prayed, and said, LORD, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the LORD opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.

18 And when they came down to him, Elisha prayed unto the LORD, and said, Smite this people, I pray thee, with blindness. And he smote them with blindness according to the word of Elisha.

TODAY'S PROMISE
You don't need to be afraid for I am always with you.

WORDS OF LIFE
I am not afraid when the enemy comes roaring in like a flood. Though they come in by night and surround me with a great army I am not afraid. When others panic and cry out in fear, I stand strong. I know the One in whom I have put my trust. I also know that there are more that are on my side than any army the enemy can muster. I do not trust in what I see, for I know that what I do not see is where the real power is. The Lord's angels have surrounded me to do battle on my behalf. Therefore I am not moved by what my natural eyes see, and I am not afraid!
