Psalm 139:7-10 (King James Version)

7Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence?

8If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there.

9If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea;

10Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me.

Today's Promise
There is no place you can go to escape my presence.

WORDS TO LIVE BY

My Father is with me everywhere I go. Regardless of where I am or what I am doing, God is there for me. Whether I rise up on the wings of the dawning day or I make my bed in hell, God is there. His right hand holds me securely in His grasp, and His love keeps me confident of my successful outcome. My destiny is in Him.

1 Corinthians 2:9-10 (King James Version)

9But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

10But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

Today's Promise
I have prepared amazing things for those who love me.

WORDS TO LIVE BY
It was written to the people under the old covenant, "No eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor has any mind conceived what God has prepared for those who love Him." But, God Himself has revealed it to me through the Holy Spirit who dwells in me!

Revelation 2:2-7 (New King James Version)

2 “I know your works, your labor, your patience, and that you cannot bear those who are evil. And you have tested those who say they are apostles and are not, and have found them liars; 3 and you have persevered and have patience, and have labored for My name’s sake and have not become weary. 4 Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love. 5 Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do the first works, or else I will come to you quickly and remove your lampstand from its place—unless you repent. 6 But this you have, that you hate the deeds of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.
7 “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give to eat from the tree of life, which is in the midst of the Paradise of God.”’

Today's Promise

Those who overcome will eat from the tree of life in paradise.

WORDS TO LIVE BY
I am a child of righteousness, a hard worker and stand fast in my confession of faith. I do not condone wickedness. I test the spirit of those who claim to be apostles but are not. I persevere through every battle and do not grow weary in well doing.
I hold fast to my love for Jesus. I live, eat and breathe in this love. It is the very innermost part of my life and the starting gate of my faith.
I have been given ears to hear and a heart to comprehend what the Spirit speaks to me. Through Jesus, I have overcome the world and have the right to eat from the Tree of Life which is in the midst of the paradise of God.

Matthew 10:26-31 (King James Version)

26Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known. 27What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops. 28And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. 29Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father. 30But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. 31Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.

Today's Promise

I see you where you are and know everything about you. Nothing escapes me for you are on my mind continually.

WORDS TO LIVE BY

I have no fear of Godless people--of their secret strategies or hidden snares. There is nothing hidden that will not be revealed to me through my Father. He teaches me the ways of the enemy so that I am not caught unaware. He reveals deep truths to me that I could never discover on my own, and what He reveals to me in my private time with Him I share with my brothers and sisters in Christ. Those things that He whispers in my ear I shout from the rooftops.

I keep things in proper perspective. My enemies may be able to kill my body, but they have no power over my spirit. However, my Father has the power to destroy both spirit and body in the fires of hell. Therefore, my Father deserves the greatest respect, and I have a holy fear of Him.

We see a sparrow as not being worth much, but not one sparrow can fall to the ground without our Father taking notice and responding with compassion. He even takes note of every hair that falls out of my head. Through this I know that I am more valuable than even a whole flock of sparrows and if anything, or anyone, would try to harm me, my Father will take notice and respond in my defense. So why in the world would I fear Godless people when my Father has me in his sights 24/7??!!

Philippians 3:7-11 (New International Version)

7But whatever was to my profit I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. 8What is more, I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them rubbish, that I may gain Christ 9and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ—the righteousness that comes from God and is by faith. 10I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, 11and so, somehow, to attain to the resurrection from the dead.

WORDS TO LIVE BY

Anything good that I find inside me that comes from my own power is worthless to me. I have set it all aside, putting no trust in it so that I can have the overwhelming blessing of knowing my Lord Jesus. I have given up everything in order to have Him in my life. All that I am and all that I have I consider trash so that I may gain Christ and be founded in Him, not having my own righteousness as a result of obeying the Law but that which comes by faith in Him. My righteousness comes from God, and I have received it by faith - not though some deed or works that I have done.

It is my greatest desire to know Jesus and the power of His resurrection in my life. I am a partaker of His sufferings. I am fully identified with Him in His death so that His resurrection life can flow in and through me.

Philippians 4:4-9 (King James Version)

4Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.

5Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.

6Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

7And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

8Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

9Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.

Words to Live By

I will always rejoice in the Lord. Again I say, I will rejoice in Him!
I let my gentleness be made known to all through my actions and not empty words.
The Lord is always with me therefore, I will not allow myself to become nervous or worried. No matter what situation I find myself in, I have a loving heavenly Father who will intervene on my behalf. When I pay with thanksgiving in my heart, He causes everything to work together for my good - even those things the enemy meant to take me out with.
The peace of God is beyond all human understanding, but it guards my heart and mind in Christ Jesus. He hears every prayer I pray - even those that seem to go nowhere - and covers me with a shield. He is willing and able to take care of me. So why should I worry?
My spirit remains in authority in my life. I stay in control of my thought processes. I only think on things that are true, noble, right and pure. Only the thoughts of praiseworthy things - things that glorify my Father are allowed to enter my mind. Other things that cross my mind will just have to cross it and keep going.
I practice everything I have learned, received or heard from the teachers whom God has appointed for me. Through all of this I have Father's assurance that His peace is ever with me.
Once again I say I will rejoice and be glad in this day because it is the day He has made for me.

Isaiah 40:29-31 (King James Version)

29He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.

30Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:

31But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Words To Live By

The Lord is my strength and my life. He is faithful to me and increases my power so that I can be confident in every situation. Even young people get tired, and the young men stumble and fall, but I have my hope in the Lord. He renews my strength and spiritual fortitude - making me soar on wings like an eagle. I run my race and never burn out. So long as I stay focused on Him, I will never grow weary in my walk with Jesus.

Faith is a spiritual power and the tool that God has given me to bring forth an abundance of good fruit in my life. It is written of the spirit of faith, "I believed; therefore, I have spoken." Luke 11:5-13 (New International Version)

5Then he said to them, "Suppose one of you has a friend, and he goes to him at midnight and says, 'Friend, lend me three loaves of bread, 6because a friend of mine on a journey has come to me, and I have nothing to set before him.'

7"Then the one inside answers, 'Don't bother me. The door is already locked, and my children are with me in bed. I can't get up and give you anything.' 8I tell you, though he will not get up and give him the bread because he is his friend, yet because of the man's boldness he will get up and give him as much as he needs.

9"So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 10For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.

11"Which of you fathers, if your son asks for a fish, will give him a snake instead? 12Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion? 13If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!"

WORDS TO LIVE BY

I am persistent in prayer. I relentlessly call on my Father to fill my every need and the needs of those in my circle of influence. God is honored by my insistence and gladly provides me with all of the necessities of life. When I speak one of God's promises into my life, I know that I must continually believe and speak it until what I have called for is manifested in this natural worlds. Whenever I am seeking anything, I remember that I have a Guide within me. Therefore, I will not give up until I have found what I am looking for.

When I come to a door of promised blessing that is shut, I will knock at that door until it opens to me and my life is showered with all of the benefits of that promise. When I persistently ask, I receive all that I am praying for. When I persistently seek, I find what I am looking for. When I persistently knock, the door is opened to me and I walk in the fullness of God's blessings in my life.

I am careful to ask for specific things. God does not operate in vague generalities, nor does He respond to my prayers with something other than what I am asking for. Even I, as a good parent, know how to give good gifts to my children. I give them specifically what they are asking for so that they are filled with joy. If my children ask me for something that is not good for them, I simply do not give it. The same goes for my heavenly Father. It gives Him great pleasure to give me those specific desires of my heart. He gives me anything that I ask for that is in line with His perfect will as is revealed in His Word and will work to my advantage.

Numbers 24:5-9 (King James Version)

5How goodly are thy tents, O Jacob, and thy tabernacles, O Israel!

6As the valleys are they spread forth, as gardens by the river's side, as the trees of lign aloes which the LORD hath planted, and as cedar trees beside the waters.

7He shall pour the water out of his buckets, and his seed shall be in many waters, and his king shall be higher than Agag, and his kingdom shall be exalted.

8God brought him forth out of Egypt; he hath as it were the strength of an unicorn: he shall eat up the nations his enemies, and shall break their bones, and pierce them through with his arrows.

9He couched, he lay down as a lion, and as a great lion: who shall stir him up? Blessed is he that blesseth thee, and cursed is he that curseth thee.

WORDS TO LIVE BY

I am like a garden beside a flowing river--like an aloe plant planted by the Lord. Water flows freely from me to nourish the seed that I have sown. I have my own sources of riches and plenty--an endless provision from my heavenly Father. My children dwell within the flood of His abundance.

My Father has delivered me from the hand of bondage and has given me strength of a wild ox. I am poised and ready to conquer life's difficulties. I am like a resting beast that no enemy dares to arouse. I crush all of my enemies beneath my feet. Those who bless me shall themselves be blessed--those who curse me curse only themselves.

12And I will walk among you, and will be your God, and ye shall be my people.

13I am the LORD your God, which brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, that ye should not be their bondmen; and I have broken the bands of your yoke, and made you go upright.

WORDS TO LIVE BY
The Lord looks on me with favor. He causes everything I do to be fruitful and prosperous. He multiplies me in all good things and in every good way. 2 Samuel 22:5-25 (King James Version)

5When the waves of death compassed me, the floods of ungodly men made me afraid;

6The sorrows of hell compassed me about; the snares of death prevented me;

7In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried to my God: and he did hear my voice out of his temple, and my cry did enter into his ears.

8Then the earth shook and trembled; the foundations of heaven moved and shook, because he was wroth.

9There went up a smoke out of his nostrils, and fire out of his mouth devoured: coals were kindled by it.

10He bowed the heavens also, and came down; and darkness was under his feet.

11And he rode upon a cherub, and did fly: and he was seen upon the wings of the wind.

12And he made darkness pavilions round about him, dark waters, and thick clouds of the skies.

13Through the brightness before him were coals of fire kindled.

14The LORD thundered from heaven, and the most High uttered his voice.

15And he sent out arrows, and scattered them; lightning, and discomfited them.

16And the channels of the sea appeared, the foundations of the world were discovered, at the rebuking of the LORD, at the blast of the breath of his nostrils.

17He sent from above, he took me; he drew me out of many waters;

18He delivered me from my strong enemy, and from them that hated me: for they were too strong for me.

19They prevented me in the day of my calamity: but the LORD was my stay.

20He brought me forth also into a large place: he delivered me, because he delighted in me.

21The LORD rewarded me according to my righteousness: according to the cleanness of my hands hath he recompensed me.

22For I have kept the ways of the LORD, and have not wickedly departed from my God.

23For all his judgments were before me: and as for his statutes, I did not depart from them.

24I was also upright before him, and have kept myself from mine iniquity.

25Therefore the LORD hath recompensed me according to my righteousness; according to my cleanness in his eye sight.

WORDS TO LIVE BY
I will not forget that I was once overwhelmed by the waves of death and terrified by the torrents of destruction. I remember when hell had me in its grasp. I was trapped--without hope without God in the world. But In my distress I called out to God for mercy. I laid my soul bare before Him and cried out for forgiveness. He heard my cry for help. He stood to His feet and shouted in defiance of the enemy. He made His proclamation that the enemy cannot have me. He shouted from heaven in a voice like the thunder. He sent His arrows and scattered the enemy. He sent His brightness and confused them. He broke my chains and set me free!
The force of darkness came upon me in the day of my calamity and overtook me. The enemy had me in their grasp, but God was my stay. He stood up and fought for me. He took my troubles as His own and made intercession for me. He defeated all of my enemies and gave me His victory and His strength. He brought me to a prosperous place.
He delivered me because He loves me. He delights in me as the apple of His eye. He has rewarded me according to my righteousness--a righteousness He has given to me as a free gift. He has compensated me and has given me an abundance of benefits. For this, I am forever grateful.
I will walk in the ways of my Father. I now live according to God's way of living and thinking. I imitate His actions like a true disciple. I am resolved to never turn away from His statutes and ordinances. I set my face like flint to live my life like a child of the Most High God.

A Mother's Love

There are times when only a mother's love
Can understand our tears,
Can soothe our disappointments
And calm all of our fears.

There are times when only a mother's love
Can share the joy we feel
When something we've dreamed about
Suddenly becomes real.

There are times when only a mother's faith
Can help us on life's way
And inspire in us the confidence
We need from day to day.

For a mother's heart and a mother's faith
And a mother's steadfast love
Were fashioned by the angels
And sent from God above.

Isaiah 53:4-6 (King James Version)

4Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.

5But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

6All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

Words To Live By

Jesus bore my sicknesses and carried my pains. He was smitten, afflicted and pierced through the hands and feet because of my transgressions. He was bruised and battered because of my sins. He became sick with my sicknesses and suffered excruciating pain on my behalf. What He did on that cross in those three days and nights, He did willingly. He took my punishment and gave me His peace. Because of His wounds I am made well. I am now totally healed ... spirit, soul and body. In Him I am made whole.

I was like a sheep that had turned to go its own way, and I rejected the way of righteousness. The Father laid all of my iniquities on Jesus and now there is nothing left that can separate me from Him.
