WORDS TO LIVE BY

Psalm 84:4-12
4 Blessed are they that dwell in thy house: they will be still praising thee. Selah.

5 Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee; in whose heart are the ways of them.

6 Who passing through the valley of Baca make it a well; the rain also filleth the pools.

7 They go from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion appeareth before God.

8 O LORD God of hosts, hear my prayer: give ear, O God of Jacob. Selah.

9 Behold, O God our shield, and look upon the face of thine anointed.

10 For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.

11 For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

12 O LORD of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee.

WORDS TO LIVE BY

I dwell in the very house of God, and I am blessed in every way. My praises continually soar into His presence. Through Him, I have strength to do the task He has set before me. My heart is set on a pilgrimage to do His will.

I press on from endeavor to venture and venture from strength to strength. I am a child of the most high God, and I appear regularly at His throne. My Father is my sun and my shield. He enlightens and enlivens me as I do His will, and He protects me from danger so that I remain secure. He bestows on me His favor and honor, and I am held in high esteem by my peers.

No good thing will He keep from me as daily I walk in obedience to Him.

Words To Live By

Eph 1:71-23 KJV
17That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:

18The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,

19And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,

20Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,

21Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:

22And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,

23Which is his body, the fullness of him that filleth all in all.

WORDS TO LIVE BY

My heavenly Father has given me a spirit of wisdom and revelation, of insight into mysteries and secrets, int he deep and intiate knowledge of Himself. My spirit has been enlightened with a flood of understanding so that I can know and comprehend the hope of my calling and the immense riches of this glorious inheritance that has become my own.

I now have a complete understanding of the greatness of His power toward me. The power that is now residing and working within me is the very power that God accomplished in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His own right hand, far above any principality, every power, every ruler of darkness, all dominion and every name or title that can be given.

And this power is not only working in and through me now, but it will continue to work in and through me in the ages to come. As God has placed all things under Jesus' feet and appointed Him to be the head of the body (the church), I have now, as a part of His body, become the fullness of Jesus in this earth as He fills me in every way. All things are placed under my feet and every power and dominion must obey me as I apply the power of attorney that Jesus has given me to use His name.

TODAY'S CHALLENGE

Determine this ... WHATEVER, Lord -- whatever happens -- I'm nailing my will to the cross and giving it to YOU!

And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day. And when he saw that he prevailed not against hi, he touched the hollow of his thigh; and the hollow of Jacob's thigh was out of joint, as he wrestled with him. And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me. And he said unto him, what is thy name? And he said, Jacob. 2 Samuel 22:29-41

29For thou art my lamp, O LORD: and the LORD will lighten my darkness.

30For by thee I have run through a troop: by my God have I leaped over a wall.

31As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all them that trust in him.

32For who is God, save the LORD? and who is a rock, save our God?

33God is my strength and power: and he maketh my way perfect.

34He maketh my feet like hinds' feet: and setteth me upon my high places.

35He teacheth my hands to war; so that a bow of steel is broken by mine arms.

36Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy gentleness hath made me great.

37Thou hast enlarged my steps under me; so that my feet did not slip.

38I have pursued mine enemies, and destroyed them; and turned not again until I had consumed them.

39And I have consumed them, and wounded them, that they could not arise: yea, they are fallen under my feet.

40For thou hast girded me with strength to battle: them that rose up against me hast thou subdued under me.

Words To Live By

2 Chron 32:10-22
10 "This is what Sennacherib king of Assyria says: On what are you basing your confidence, that you remain in Jerusalem under siege? 11 When Hezekiah says, 'The LORD our God will save us from the hand of the king of Assyria,' he is misleading you, to let you die of hunger and thirst. 12 Did not Hezekiah himself remove this god's high places and altars, saying to Judah and Jerusalem, 'You must worship before one altar and burn sacrifices on it'?

13 "Do you not know what I and my fathers have done to all the peoples of the other lands? Were the gods of those nations ever able to deliver their land from my hand? 14 Who of all the gods of these nations that my fathers destroyed has been able to save his people from me? How then can your god deliver you from my hand? 15 Now do not let Hezekiah deceive you and mislead you like this. Do not believe him, for no god of any nation or kingdom has been able to deliver his people from my hand or the hand of my fathers. How much less will your god deliver you from my hand!"

16 Sennacherib's officers spoke further against the LORD God and against his servant Hezekiah. 17 The king also wrote letters insulting the LORD, the God of Israel, and saying this against him: "Just as the gods of the peoples of the other lands did not rescue their people from my hand, so the god of Hezekiah will not rescue his people from my hand." 18 Then they called out in Hebrew to the people of Jerusalem who were on the wall, to terrify them and make them afraid in order to capture the city. 19 They spoke about the God of Jerusalem as they did about the gods of the other peoples of the world—the work of men's hands.

20 King Hezekiah and the prophet Isaiah son of Amoz cried out in prayer to heaven about this. 21 And the LORD sent an angel, who annihilated all the fighting men and the leaders and officers in the camp of the Assyrian king. So he withdrew to his own land in disgrace. And when he went into the temple of his god, some of his sons cut him down with the sword.

22 So the LORD saved Hezekiah and the people of Jerusalem from the hand of Sennacherib king of Assyria and from the hand of all others. He took care of them on every side.

TODAY'S PROMISE
Don't be afraid ... victory is yours!!

WORDS TO LIVE BY

I completely reject the evil report of the enemy and count it worthless. I refuse to listen to the bragging reports of victories in his campaigns. I refuse to allow what I see with my natural eyes to guide my faith. I do not look to what is seen, but to what is unseen. Regardless of the testimony of the circumstances, I have the victory!

My strength and victory comes from the King of Kings and Lord of Lords! He hears my every prayer and sends His angel before me to destroy the enemy. Those who rise up against me shall flee from me in disgrace.

Romans 4:16-25
16Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all,

17(As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.

18Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be.

19And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah's womb:

20He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;

21And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.

22And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness.

23Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him;

24But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead;

25Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.

TODAY'S PROMISE
Your faith is the key to the door of unending promises!

WORDS TO LIVE BY

My inheritance of God's promise is the outcome of my faith. By believing in the promise and speaking of it as if it were mine, God has an avenue to give it to me as an act of unmerited, undeserved favor. This overcomes the obstacles that imprison God's generous heart and is the certainty that guarantees that I will receive His promises in my life.

I walk in the faith of Abraham. Abraham understood the faith of God, in whom he believed...the very One who brings life out of death by calling those things that are not as though they are. When God declared, "I have made you a father of many nations," Abraham's hope was not shaken. He did not say, "No way, God, I don't have even one child-much less many." To the contrary, he did not weaken in faith by looking at the limitations of his body (which was as good as dead where reproduction was concerned), but against all hope and circumstance, he had the assurance of his faith, believing in the promise and speaking of it as if it were already fulfilled.

When God said, "Look to the stars, Abraham. So shall your descendents be," He gave Abraham a vision of his destiny. Abraham, with his finger pointing to the heavens, declared in euphoric harmony with God, "So shall my descendants be!" Like God, regardless of his natural circumstances, he called those things that were not as though they were.

This is the example set before me. I believe and declare God's Word to be true in my life. Therefore, in faith, I call those things that are not (in my preesent condition and circumstance) as if I already have them. I will allow NO UNBELIEF or mistrust to make me waiver, but I will grow strong, empowered by faith, giving praise and glory to God.

I believe that God is trustworthy - He is who He says He is, and I am fully convinced He is able to keep His Word and do what He says He can do!

I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. This righteousness is granted to me because I believe in and put my total dependence upon God, who raised Jesus, my Lord, from the dead. That same power that raised Jesus from the dead lives in me today -- it's not just visiting -- it LIVES in me!

Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God. Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called the children of God.
