Words To Live By

2 Kings 20:2-5 [NIV ]

Hezekiah turned his face to the wall and prayed to the Lord, “Remember, O Lord, how I have walked before you faithfully and with wholehearted devotion and have done what is good in your eyes.” And Hezekiah wept bitterly. Before Isaiah had left the middle court, the word of the Lord came to him: “Go back and tell Hezekiah, the leader of my people, 'This is what the Lord, the God of your father David, says: I have heard your prayer and seen your tears; I will heal you. On the third day from now you will go up to the temple of the Lord.'”

TODAY'S PROMISE
The facts may be bad, but my truth is always good.

WORDS TO LIVE BY
I refuse to lay claim to an evil report. Any and every report that contradicts the Word of my God I consider to be false and misleading. I know the power of God that is at work within me. He is faithful and what He has spoken will come to pass in my life.
Therefore, when the bad report comes, I set my face to the wall. I do not look at, or listen to, that which is contrary to the Word. I will accept nothing less than what God has promised.
I lay claim to my inheritance as God's child. Peace, joy, healing, and prosperity belong to me. I need only to remind my Father of these things and He changes the bad report to good.
