2 Samuel 22:29-41

29For thou art my lamp, O LORD: and the LORD will lighten my darkness.

30For by thee I have run through a troop: by my God have I leaped over a wall.

31As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all them that trust in him.

32For who is God, save the LORD? and who is a rock, save our God?

33God is my strength and power: and he maketh my way perfect.

34He maketh my feet like hinds' feet: and setteth me upon my high places.

35He teacheth my hands to war; so that a bow of steel is broken by mine arms.

36Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy gentleness hath made me great.

37Thou hast enlarged my steps under me; so that my feet did not slip.

38I have pursued mine enemies, and destroyed them; and turned not again until I had consumed them.

39And I have consumed them, and wounded them, that they could not arise: yea, they are fallen under my feet.

40For thou hast girded me with strength to battle: them that rose up against me hast thou subdued under me.

TODAY'S PROMISE
I will be your light in times of darkness and make your way clear if only you trust me.

WORDS TO LIVE BY

My Lord lights my way before me. He gives me His clear instruction to keep me firmly on the path of righteousness.

By Him, I claim victory over the enemy. I run through the enemy's command post and leap over their impregnable walls.

God's Word is ever before me. It is tested, tried and true. I put my complete trust in Him.

He is my Shield and my Refuge! He is my Rock and my Fortress!

He supervises my way before me and enlightens my understanding of His plan for my life.

He has set me free from all hindrances.

Now I run like a deer; I'm king of the mountain.
He shows me how to fight; I can bend a bronze bow!
He protects me with salvation-armor; you touch me and I feel ten feet tall.
He cleared the ground under me so my footing is firm.
He has placed me on the top of His priority list and has established me with steadfast assurance and a holy boldness that cannot be shaken.

He has given me the shield of His salvation.

By His grace He came down to my level that I may be lifted up to His level.

He has enlarged my steps under me to keep me from falling.

His greatness is within me and by His strength I destroy the enemy. I refuse to turn back until they are consumed. I keep them at bay and they shall not arise!

My Lord has equipped me with strength for the battle. I see nothing but the backs of my enemies as they turn tail and run from me utterly terrified!!! Alleluia and Amen!
